Asst. Principal Waters

Greetings Gideon Family!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am very excited as we head into a new school year! Last year showed us that flexibility and hard work are necessary for how we educate our students. I want to take this opportunity to thank students, families, and staff for all of their hard work and flexibility during the 2021-2022 school year. It truly takes a community to educate our children! As we head into the new school year, let’s carry that same flexibility and hard work, and a growth mindset, as we continue to expand learning opportunities for our students and create a safe and positive school culture for our students and staff!

Here’s how you and your child(ren) can prepare for the start of school:

Attendance Matters! Our school day will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:39 PM.  Please ensure your child attends school everyday and on time.

Get Ready! To help you and your child get organized and prepared for a successful new school year, please visit our website for Teacher Welcome Letters, which shares important information about school supplies and expectations.

Be Involved! Please visit our website to learn how you can become more active in your child’s education and partner with us!

Mark your calendars and join us on September 8, 2022 from 4-6 PM for our Back to School Night to check out classrooms, meet faculty members, and find out what is in store for the upcoming school year!

As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns by calling the school at (215) 400-7360. By working together, we can make this a successful year of learning and growth for every student!
